West Towne Mall Food Court Entrance (meet at the first table on your left)
Service Provider Stephanie Haggan will lead an indoor walking opportunity for all members. The 45-minute walk may include walking at your own pace, suggested stretches and light exercises, breaks to sit and for water, and motivation and support from fellow peers.
The Ethnic Diversity Committee extends a warm and gracious invitation to visit the Sikh Temple (Gurudwara Sahib) in our Middleton community. This experience provides SAIL members with another opportunity to learn, appreciate, and expand our diversity exposure. The outing will include a tour of the temple along with information about the Sikh faith and culture. A vegetarian meal (soup, mixed veggies, bread, and dessert) will be provided afterwards at no cost in keeping with the Sikh tradition of a free kitchen.
All attendees will need to cover their heads with a bandana or scarf and to remove their shoes upon arrival. Scarves are also available in the entrance area and a place for shoes is provided.

Last May, a small group of SAIL members had lunch outside at Otto’s Restaurant. We still talk about it fondly and would like to give other SAIL members a similar experience. I have reserved a table for eight at Otto’s on May 25 at 11:30 am. Weather permitting, we plan to eat on the covered patio. Otto’s is located at 6405 Mineral Point Rd. Hopefully, this will be the first monthly or bimonthly SAIL Dining Around Town opportunity. Our capacity at each meal will be eight to ten members so we can sit at one table and easily talk to each other. We will choose different restaurants—both new and old favorites—in various price ranges. The chosen restaurant will be listed in The Messenger. We will do our best to assist with rides and accessibility.

Join your SAIL friends and meet new people at our seasonal luncheon and annual meeting. A delicious lunch will be followed by an election of new SAIL Council members and a talk by our guest speaker, Tyrone Cratic Williams, CEO of Cratic Consulting, LLC, workforce development specialist, financial literacy educator, and Madison Police Officer. Tyrone will be sharing his life experiences from his personal and professional work as an educator, mentor, and first responder.
