About this event

This Months Book:  A Place to Hang the Moon by Kate Albus

Set against the backdrop of World War II, this is a heartwarming historical story about three siblings—William, Edmund, and Anna—who, after being orphaned in 1940s London, decide to evacuate to the countryside searching for a permanent, loving home. They work as a family and
with the help of books and a kind librarian, they navigate foster placements which don’t work out before finding a true loving family.

The SAIL Book Club is open to all members of SAIL and meets on the third Wednesday of each month virtually. Please register online at SAIL or call if that’s not possible. Books are chosen by Book Club members that are readily available at the library and have been read and recommended by a member of the SAIL Book Club.
The next book is available after each discussion or delivered to you if needed.
