This book is a 2024 Booker Prize-shortlisted novel about a climate scientist who abandons her life in Sydney to retreat to a quiet, isolated religious community in rural Australia. The SAIL Book Club is open to all members of SAIL and meets on the third Wednesday of each month virtually. Please register online at SAIL or call if that’s not possible. Books are chosen by Book Club members that are readily available at the library and have been read and recommended by a member of the SAIL Book Club. The next book is available after each discussion or delivered to you if needed.
