About this event
All members are invited to attend the Spring Luncheon and Annual Meeting.A short Annual Meeting will include the re-election of Council Members and introduction to new council community members. Our special guest speaker will be Angela Johnson. Angela is a professional artist, creativity coach and educator. She earned a master’s in Art Education, an MA in Art and an MFA with a focus in photography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Currently Angela is Teaching Faculty at UW-Madison in the Art Department teaching sections of Service Learning in Art.
This year’s luncheon topic is Creativity and Brain Health, a topic that aligns nicely with the Older Americans Month theme “Champion Your Health.” It will serve as a kickoff for upcoming creativity workshops and other opportunities to enjoy art together and individually.
Johnson is passionate about helping people unleash their creativity. “There’s an artist in everyone; you may just not have discovered yours yet,” she says.
Lunch menu includes choice of:
Chicken Breast w/Provencal Beurre Blanc Sauce
