It Takes a Village . . .

Volunteerism is a cornerstone of the Village model, drawing upon the untapped capacity of people in our communities to support each other. Please consider joining our group of volunteers who play a vital role in the success of SAIL.

Some of the benefits volunteers experience include:

  • Staying active – physically, mentally and socially
  • Connecting with others, and feeling part of community
  • Putting talents, skills and capacities to good use
  • Paying it forward – knowing that someday each of us may need support too!

For more information on how you can become a part of
SAIL by volunteering, please contact the SAIL office at 230-4321 or send an email to Peggy York, volunteer coordinator at peggy@sailtoday.org.

Prior to volunteering, new volunteers are required to complete an application, meet with SAIL staff, and pass background and reference checks. All volunteers will receive the necessary training required for the individual role(s).

To get started, print, complete, and mail the following forms to SAIL, 6209 Mineral Point Road, Suite 210, Madison, WI 53705 or email to SAIL Volunteer Manager.

SAIL Member, Charlotte, loves sharing her beautiful garden with
