Subsidized Services at SAIL

SAIL Membership is available at a sliding fee for qualified individuals. SAIL staff and volunteers actively seek funds to support our sliding fee options for older adults with low incomes on an on-going basis. We strongly believe in the importance of remaining healthy and independent in the home of one’s choice, regardless of income.

For many older adults, living alone presents risks that can be lowered or eliminated through SAIL’s membership program. To the extent monies are available in our Subsidized Services Fund, we offer a sliding fee to older adults who cannot afford standard fees. To be eligible, an applicant’s adjusted gross income must be $44,950 or below for an individual or $51,400 or below for a household of 2 or more persons.

The Executive Director administers the Subsidized Services program. The Board of Directors requires that the Executive Director review documents to establish proof of income (for example, the most recent tax form). The list of Subsidized Services program members is confidential, and known only to the Executive Director and his/her designee.

If you believe you qualify or if you have any questions, please contact Ann Albert, Executive Director, at 230-4321 or send her an email at  ann@sailtoday.org.
